KAIZEN – the key to lean processes

Most processes, physical like a production process or administrative like a purchase or project process, can be much more efficient performed. The Kaizen philosophy and it´s waste elimination concept is the basis for this. However, the hard thing is not to read the theory but to apply it in your very own work and environment.

This course gives the experience and confidence to apply Kaizen in any process for dramatically improved productivity.

Content

	Kaizen theory
	Learn to see and understand process (case training)
	How to improve the process (case training)
	Evaluate and implement changes (case training)
	Evaluate and document results. Lessons learned (case training)
	New case training led by trained pupil(s)

Objective

To provide the organization with a generic METHOD that can be successfully used in all process optimization work. Some key persons shall also be able to facilitate such workshops.

Target group

Primarily production responible, purchasers to apply in supplier’s processes, all process owners. The initial part is also very useful for all organization members in order to create a common view on waste and efficiency. This will very much help and prepare for the specific changes later to come.
